When I add a new user through AD it seems as though they are not getting added to the domain (there is only one). I have added this user where I add the rest of my users and have checked to see if they have the proper member associations. When I go to a workstation to add them as a user of the computer, they don't show up under the Look in: domain, although they do show up under the Look in: Entire Directory. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Why are you going to the workstation to add them as a user? Once they are added to the domain with active directory you need to add the machine to the system then just log in as the user.

Sounds like you are adding users to the local machines users and groups.

You need to add the users in Active Directory. Open Admin Tools> Users and Computers> Add users to an ou. Then they will be domain users as opposed to local users as Leonbar has said. Hewissa

Thanks. I appreciate your assistance.

You should try going to the server and checking to make sure it is pointing to the correct DNS server. That always works for me.
