We have a networked HP LJ 4000 and we are having some issues. It is setup for IP printing and there are some problems. When you go to print everything seems to get stuck in the queue. Several items will pirnt and then the queue just backs up.Anyone have any suggestions? TIA!!!!

don't suppose you are using the PCL6 drivers?

try changing to the HP Laserjet 4 printer drivers, and see if it gets hung again...

if not, you can:

1. stay with the HPLJ4 driver

or

2. remove the PCL6 driver, and just install the Post Script driver

If the LJ4 driver fixes it, try using the LJ5Si driver - this will restore full tray fuctionality which is not supported in the LJ4 driver.

I hope this helps

thanks Citrix... i didn't think of the tray functionality issues...
