Just added 20+ users and out of no where, as I
completed adding a user, scoadmin got stuck
upon choosing OK on final screen.

As scoadmin returns to main screen where all
users are listed, it dies ... It has been seating
there for over an hour now.

What may cause something like this? How
can I fix it? Searched caldera TAs but found
nothing on such behavior ...

Thank you all in advance!

If you are still having problems with scoadmin....
check for temporary files in /tmp that are time stamped close to when you had the problem and get rid of them.

run /tcb/bin/integrity -e
run /tcb/bin/authck -a
run fixmog

After following advise as posted above, I had to resolve to rebooting server.

I rebooted last night. scoadmin works but one of
the problem, which only started happening after
running authck -a -v, priority and fixmog (I also
ran verify normal system state QUICK).

I remember it saying that permission for sendmail.cf
and Systems were not correct and I think it changed
them to what they are now ...

Since then, sendmail now gives us this error

sendmail.cf: line 62: fileclass: cannot open /usr/lib/uucp/Systems: Permission denied

-rw------- 1 uucp uucp 3598 Sep 26 2001 Systems@

The linked file looks like this
/var/opt/K/SCO/Unix/5.0.6Ga/usr/lib/uucp
-rw------- 1 uucp uucp 3598 Sep 26 2001 Systems

Here is what sendmail.cf looks like
-rw-r--r-- 1 root sys 30627 Apr 24 2003 sendmail.cf

I do not want to change permission around and cause an even
greater problem. I do not know what these files were set to nor what they should be set if not as above.

I do need to know what to set these files to so that sendmail starts working again ... or is the message saying one thing while the problem lies else where ???

Thank you all in advance!
