Problem using nsf file

I have a nsf file which is located in server (not notes server, just an ordinary server), if more than one user try that, it gives an error. Is there any way to access this nsf file without putting in notes server. I am using R5.

Notes sure if this will work, but I guess it's worth a try. Copy the database to your local Notes client and place it within the data directory (create share as well). Go to the other Notes clients and click, File, Database, Open, Browse to your PC and open it.

Hi,

You can not use a Notes database with more then 1 user at the same time without a Notes server.

There are no tricks or other ways around it.

For now you users will need to use the database one at a time.
