Hi all,

Is there any way to enter data into a combobox and create a list that way instead of having to pre-prepare a list to use??
I trying to create a list like the "Autofilter" and the "pick from list" shortcut.
Can any body give me some suggestions.

Cheers,

rob9740,

Because no one has yet responded to your question, let me see if I can "get things started".

Based on your description, your overvall objective is not entirely obvious. However, let me suggest the following:

It is possible to set up an "Autofilter type of list" from which the user could check off those items which the user wants to have extracted for inclusion in combo box pulldown lists.

Please advise as to whether this is is "close" to what you are wanting to accomplish, and whether you still would like help with this task.

An option would be for you to send me a sample of your file, which I would return with modifications related to the option I described.

Cheers Dale,
I used a bit of a work around by using the data validation in excel. It made it easier to provide the users with a drop-down list in every cell in the column rather than have to place a combobox in every cell in the column.
I didn't make it easy to understand what I was looking for in the post.Sorry about that.
