Have IIs on a NT4.0 machine.

I would like the user to remotely change their password at the next login via the user browser.

A virtual directory(IISADMPWD) was setup up per microsoft help file ( Q184058) but when an attempt to change the password is made ( account ,old password, new password with confirmation entered), the program directs to a page not found error and the password is not changed.

We had originally used iisadmpwd/aexp2.htr as the access link. The password change screen came up and gave us the page not found error and the password was not changed. We then experimented and tried iisadmpwd/aexp4b.htr the password screen came up and the password was changed on the server.

I am not certain why this link works, but it does.

Does anyone know what the files in the iisadmpwd virtual directory do and why aexp4b will work and aexp2.htr will not. Or does anyone know a source that can explain the inner workings of password changing for us.
