problem using bibliography dB with star office 7

Hello,

I'm using StarOffice7 on windows nt and I have problems using the bibliography dB in the writer software : in the help section, they say that by clicking on tools-->bibliodB, you open the database and that you can add a new reference in the insert-->save menu. (Sorry for the approximative translation, I don't have the english version of the software)

When I do this, a new blank line appears in the database, and the cursor is positionned so that I can add the contents of my new reference. However, when I want to type text, nothing happens. And of course it's not a keyboard pb since I can write this mail...

It seems that another solution is to go in StarOfficeWriter's menu insert-->index, then select "bibliography entry", but here the button "new" is greyed so I cannot add a reference.

Can anyone explain to me what I'm supposed to do to add references ?

Problem solved...
It has nothing to do with StarOffice but with read/write access.
