Hello,
I use ACT 6 on my company and I am having a hard time to make 1 of the client stations access the server.
Every time I try to open the database I receive the message "The database <Database name> could not be accessed. In order to access this database, check your network connection and verify that your database server is available. It may be necessary to disable any firewall software...".
I already went through the faq but it didn't work.
I have other 5 stations working.
Any idea about what might be the problem?
Thanks,
Alex

That knowledge base is for ACT! 8.0 (2006). You say you are running ACT! 6.

They require very different methods to connect. Which is correct?
