I have 4 systems on the same network and I tried to upgrade all of them at the same time using 4 different computers. all of them locked up at 31% complete. after 3 hours of sitting on 31% i rebooted 1 of them and used BIT to image it back to 3.7. In the process of doing the Intiatialization from the com port it defaulted my telephony programming. I have replaced several hard drives and have never lost telephony programming before. What can i do to preserve the programming on the remaining 3 systems?

P.S. No backups!!

U should be taking backups before doing an upgrade in case u have to revert back to the original software rls.

Also did you run the pre check before the upgrade to see if you have errors on the systems.

Of the several I have run usually never runs more than 30 - 45 minutes. Without backups you may be building from scratch.

Definitely do a backup as well as the precheck. I have done a bunch of 3.7 to 4.0 it usually takes about 2 hours I did not have any issues, as long as it passes the precheck. The precheck is on Nortels web site.

Isnt 31% around the time the upgrade repartitions the drive ??

BIT image and restoring a backup usually fixes most upgrade problems it fixed the same problem for me.

Regarding the Pre-upgrade check, the upgrade CD does the check again and will not start if a prerequisite fails.

If its not broke tweak it..
