I need to update some links in an uneditable region of a template. When I save the changes and update the files that use that template, it makes the changes to some of the files in the site, but not others. The files that are updated/not updated seem to be chosen pretty much at random. I tried updating all of the files in the site, but that didn't work.

problem updating pages with a template

I had a huge website that wouldn't update properly about 10 months ago. The reason I believe was because I jumped up two versions with the Dreamweaver upgrade (a couple pages updated ...most didn't). I ultimately had to "Modify> Templates> Detach from Template" .... Then create a new template from that and paste the elements from the old pages back into the new template-created pages. It was an unpleasant task but I couldn't come up with any other solution.
