Problem Unhiding User from echange address list

In the ADUC under the Exhange Advanced tab there is a check box that you can select to hide the user from being visible in Exchange Address Lists. I want to unhide someone so I have unchecked the box which seems to have strange results. When you search for the user you get the user before and after and a blank space in the address book where the user should now be visible.
Any ideas? Thanks.
