Problem trying to create distributed web application

I tried setup the xml web service as following

But when I was finishing configration on the xml web service and try to create a windows form, there came a problem. I try to add the web referece (

http://localhost/AuthorsWebService/AuthorsWebService.vsdisco)

but I got a error massage " the specified module can not be founed".
I do not know how the xml web service work I just follow the instruction.
Anybody can help?

Yup! you need to add a reference to the .asmx file instead. I am not sure why but the dynamic discovery dooda doesn't work that way. Just type in the path to the asmx file and everything works fine. That'l do donkey, that'l do
