Problem trying to attach files to e-mail 1

I have recently installed GroupWise on a Windows 2000 machine. When I go through the steps to attach a file to my e-mail I get as far as selecting the file, but the file dosen't show up on my e-mail as being attached. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.
 
Go to the properties of the drive where the file you wish to attach is located and make sure there is a check mark in the box for "Allow indexing service to index this disk for fast file searching". Your attachments will now show up.
