I have a form with a subform on it. Once I have tabbed through the fields on the main form, it will then tab to the first field on the subform (continuous forms). The problem is, once I tried to tab past the last field on the first part of the subform (first of the continuous forms) I want to continue tabbing in that form to add new info. However, the tab focus returns to the first field on the main form. I have tried to play around with this and can't seem to get it to stay on the subform. Can anyone help?

Thanks, Sherry

Hi Sherry:
I worked for two weeks on a form/subform design problem...I hope I can help a little bit.
1. Check your tab order for the detail section of your sub form.
2. Make sure your (at least) two tables (one for the main form and one for the sub form) have the proper one-to-many relationship.
3. Make sure the record in the MAIN FORM is saved in its table after you enter the first record in the SUB FORM.
4. Is the first record in the SUB FORM saved in its table?
I don't know if I can help or not...hope so.
Best of luck.

Sherry:
I forgot to ask: Do you have any fields on the main form that are auto filled or filled with default data? (That was the key to my problem!)

Hi Gus,

No, I don't have any autofills. I will take a look at what you suggested. Thanks.
