Problem Setting up Win 2000 Network

When I try to set up a domain on Windows 2000 Proffessional I get the following error message: "The following error occurred validating the name "". The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted." Please advice what I need to do to set up the network.

Are you trying to join an existing Domain? Or set up a new domain? Are you sure you have the right forum here?
