Problem sending meeting requests since Exchange SP4 upgrade

Hi

Ever since we have installed Exchange SP4, I have noticed that we are having a random calendar problem. I cannot duplicate the problem but it appears to randomly happen when someone changes the time of a previous meeting and then invites someone to the meeting.

The first error that comes up is: Cannot send this meeting request. The function cannot be performed because the message has been changed.

The second message that comes up is: The item could not be saved because it has been changed by another user in another window. Do you want to make a copy instead?

Unlike the first error states, the meeting requests actually do send. The calendar item that is saved if you click "yes" to the second message is not linked to the invitations that were sent so the person is unable to see the meeting attendee's responses on the attendee availability tab.

Has anyone ran into this problem or does anyone know the exact sequence of actions that causes it? Opening the meeting in a separate window during modification does not produce the symptoms. The Microsoft Knowledge Base has nothing on the topic.

Thanks!

We are running Exchange 5.5, SP4 and NT 4.0 SP6A. The problem did not surface until we upgraded from Exchange 5.5 Exchange SP3 to Exchange 5.5 SP4.

sorry, i got my sp's switched..

I had to install sp4 twice when I first put it on my exchange 5.5, you may want to try that..
