problem sending mail with outlook expres

Hi,
If I tick option "save a copy of message" than when I try to sent mail there pops up an error (no errornumber) just saying things are not OK.
Meanwhile in the outbox the mail to sent is there.
Outlook express sents that mail several times until I removed manually the mail from outbox.

If I untick the option all works fine.

Any idea what's wrong?

The file sent items.dbx is damaged. With OE closed, search your hard drive (include system and hidden files) for sent items.dbx. Delete this file (only the one in your user profile if your system has multiple users). Then re-open OE and a new one will be created.

before deleting the .dbx backup(or move to another folder) any sent masseages you want to save or they are gone.
