I have a report in Access XP (2002) with Access 2000 file format.

I run a report with one field as a running sum over the group.

In the group footer I refer to that field to see the total.
=[FieldName] in detail

I get the total in Access XP but in in 2003 I only get the sum of the first tranaction in the detail not the final running sum.

Anyone bumped into this, and what is the solution?

Thanks in advance

You use the fieldname in the group footer? Normally I would expect a control name in the detail of something like "txtFieldNameRunningSum". Then in the group footer use a control source of =txtFieldNameRunningSum.

Try not leave your controls with the same name as the field.

Sorry!

I was in a rush, I use the control name not a field name of the recordsource.
