Greetings !

First of all i'd like to congratulate Corel for having improved so much on screenprinting features on the X3.

Nevertheless I'm having some trouble when "riping" the PS files i create on X3. The NovaRip® sends me an error message and dont recognize the postscript file.

Has anyone had any of these problems ?

Now that corel has solved the huge subject of spot colors i'm stuck on my rip.

Thanks for your time,

LM

Are you overprinting? What level on PS are you using, is there a common denominator or is it all files not ripping?

Hi and thanks for your reply.

I'm overprinting as we have to do it on sparation colors for screenprinting. It happens in any file i print from Corel. I first thought it was due to the new features in X3 being too new for an old rip as the nova rip 7.1 wich is the one i'm using on a MAC G3 computer. With Corel 12 They pass ok. But the 12 doesn't manage the spot tcolors as the wonderfull X3 does.
I feel like having a Ferrari and not knowing how to drive...

Any help is welcome !

Thanks again,

AIRMAX

I have had overprinting problems but no others and it seems to be with certain RIPS or postscript printers, I invariably get round it by printing/separating to Acrobat (in my case V5) and printing the pdf. I have seen it mentioned on the X3 NG.
Just thought try not using the print preview.
