I am having a problem programming SOME of my Flexible CO Buttons on a KX-T7220 phone (with KX-TD1232). A few of the buttons that I had programmed previously simply stopped working one day. Whenever I try to reprogramm them it won't LET me!

Procedure:

1) press PROGRAM button
2) dial "99"
3) press key to be programmed.

At step 3 the button's light should go on and it does NOT! THAT'S where it appears to stall.

I have reset the system, no change. This is also a problem on other models of XDP phones.

Any thoughts?

Greg

Try Defaulting the station and then reprogram
also have you tried a known working set on that faulty phones port?

The phones seem to be responding normally now though I'm not exactly sure why.

How do you Default a phone?

Thanks!

Greg

1) press PROGRAM button
2) dial "99"
3) dial "#"
4) then press "store"
this will return the handset to the original default programming

lifting the handset and dialing the feature code "790"
will clear the features set on the Phone
ie:a) Absent Message Capability
b) Background Music (BGM)
c) Call Forwarding
d) Call Pickup Deny
e) Call Waiting
f) Data Line Security
g) Do Not Disturb (DND)
h) Message Waiting – (All messages will be removed)
i) Paralleled Telephone Connection
j) Pickup Dialing (Hot Line) – (The stored telephone number will be removed)
k) Timed Reminder
Hope this helps
