I am using pdox4.5, how do I get it to print on USB printer?

Often addressed. SOME of the solutions offered, depending on many things:

If your local USB printer is not a Windows-only one, and if you are using a recent Windows version (not 9x), you can try:

1) Share your local USB printer to the LAN
Map it to a LPT port with - NET USE LPT1 \\mypc\myprinter

2) Check either the USB or the LPT port into the printer's driver enable "Print Pooling"

Yet another possible "solution" (ha!) for printing to WIN printers - that I think was not yet mentioned here... It's the POOLING option. Check the last few lines I've added under "Printing / USB" at

Applies under XP, and I've not yet checked if there's any equivalent under W98SE.

Go to the printers folder that printer and enable Printer Pooling, then Ctrl-click the LPT1 port so both the USB and the lpt1 port are checked.
