Hey all

I am having a problem upgrading SDD on a Windows 2000 Server SP4 box. Storage is ESS 2105. HBA is QLA2200. Current SDD version is 1.3.1.1. SDD works fine but when I try to upgrade to, let's say, 1.6.0.7 (by IBM download) or even 1.5.0.0, the disks become unavailable in Device Manager (disks have red X on it). Do a datapath query device and says 'No device file found'. Drivers on the QLA card are up to date and so is BIOS on the card. I have tried different version of SDD even up to 1.6.3.0 with no success. Anyone has any suggestions...

Thanks

I removed SDD 1.3.1.1, rebooted, installed 1.6.3.0 and rebooted again...

This is what appears after I log in:

IBM 2105F20 SDD Disk Device

The specified service does not exist as an installed service.
