Hi guys,

I have a problem on the text objects when my reports are exported in excel format. I am using Crystal Reports XI and when I export my reports with a text object, it seems to be weird.

On my text object on the Page Header, I have the Report Name, under it is the Subreport name, and under it is the date.

Sample Text Object format:
_______________________
MAIN REPORT
subreport
mm/dd/yyyy
-----------------------

But when I export it in excel, it will look like this:
___________________________________
MAIN REPORT[]subreport[]mm/dd/yyyy

__________________________________

Note: The [] sign represents a square, since I can't recreate the square sign.

But when I double click the cell that contains this information, it will be in the right order.

Is there a way where I can fix this?

Thanks.

Hi,

"Is there a way where I can fix this?"

Format that cell alignment to WRAP in Excel.

Hi Skip,

I already thought of that but this is a page header and when you have 20 pages on excel that the client wants to print, I believe it will take time for them.

Is there a way where we can eliminate the wrapping of the cells?

Thanks.

If this is just a report to print, why bother with Excel? Reports, like this one, in Excel are a royal pain in the keester!!!
