when i do a ftp on a machine whit SCO Unix, the ftp occupy too much resource of the CPU on the machine whit SCO UNIX.
Can i limit it?
which parameter can i change?

If its the ftdp thats taking to much resource maybe you should change the to another ftpd.
If its your ftp client again try using a diffrent client software.
I recently install a linux box where I run proftpd at the moment at its using virtually no cpu time and memory whilst im uploading to it.
