Hi, I am looking after 2 groups of people in our organisation. One group uses Exchange Server 2000 and another group uses MDaemon (POP/SMTP type email server). Both group users use Outlook 2000/XP as email client.
Users from both group reported that when they are using remote mail feature when they are going away from the office, there seem to be a problem to delete unwanted message after marked the message headers for deletion.
The procedure they are using is:
1. Get dial-up connection
2. Get VPN connection
3. Open up Outlook, choose remote mail profile.
4. Download message header, then mark for download or delete.
5. At last, choose to procoss marked message headers.
At this point, all marked for download message headers will be downloaded successfully, but the marked for deletion ones won't go disappear. Instead, the message headers will be download again in the inbox.
Does any one know what the problems might be?
Thanks
Jenny
