Problem Moving a LV

I have got two disks(hdisk1 and hdisk2) in rootvg and has some 12 filesystems, these two disks have got some stale partitions in it.On hdisk1 say lv1 and lv2 have got stale PP's and on hdisk2 lv5 has got stale PP's in it, so I have moved all logical volumes from hdisk2 to hdisk3(new disk added to rootvg) except the LV which has gone bad(i.e. lv5).
This lv i.e. lv5 is good on hdisk1, so tried to move on to hdisk3 but it could not move and gives an error saying it could not move completely. When I have checked the third disk it had one PP but in real this LV has 10PP's allocated.

In summary now my situation is that the lv5 is on hdisk0 with 10 PP's allocated, hdisk2 with 10 PP's allocated but a few of them stale and on hdisk3 only 1 PP allocated. Can someone let me know how to go about in this situation.

I have tried to take the LV from the third disk where only one PP is allocated, but that also comes out with an error.

As a last option I have thought to ask for some downtime and follow these steps, correct me if I am wrong

unmount the fs on lv5
reducevg for taking out hdisk2 (This has only the lv5 now)
sync both the remaining disks (hdisk0 and hdisk89)

Are these steps ok or anyone of you suggest anything else

hi ,

when you say you moved the lv how do you move it ?

once thing you can do is mirror hdisk1 lv5 which is good to
hdisk3 and then remove hdisk1 as mirror copy

so you'll have 3 copies

hdisk1 hdisk2 hdisk3
bad bad good

then reduce the mirrors from hdisk1 nad hdisk2

using smit mklvcopy ( mirror)
rmlvcopy ( remove)
