I would like to mount a share on a Windows computer (on a domain). I know that it can be done when using a Windows computer. But when I try on a Linux computer I get the following message:

"An error occurred while trying to mount the share.

SMB connectioned failed.

cli_negprot. SMB signing is mandatory and we have disabled it

9459: protocol negotiation failed."

I have looked at Using Samba, 2nd edition but there appears to be nothing about SMB Signing.

Any help with how this issue can be resolved would be gratefully received.
