I have a problem with spool on Canon IR Adv 6055
On the first page

After Edition is OK several pages but no staple on the corner

The %-12345X value should be preceded by an escape character (the non-graphic control code character with decimal code 27, or hexadecimal 1B, commonly represented in documentation as <Esc>), in which case it is the Universal Exit Language (UEL) escape sequence.

This sequence tells the printer to enter PJL mode, where PJL commands are then interpreted; the last PJL command (in your example) is the Enter Language command, specifying that the target Page Description Language is PCL (which is an escape-based language).

The fact that the escape sequences (another example being <Esc>&l26A) are printed, rather than being interpreted as control sequences, would imply one of the following:

[li]Something between the workstation and printer is stripping out the (non-graphic) control codes.[/li]
[li]Your printer does not understand PCL at all (I think that it is a purchasable option on some printers from this manufacturer).[/li]
[li]Your printer does understand PCL, but the personality has been set (via front-panel menus, or Embedded Web Server equivalent) to something other than PCL or Auto.[/li]
