Problem Maintaining Infotype 1017

I get this message when I try to create a PD Profile via transaction PO13:

"Object type S infotype 1017 cannot be maintained via basic transaction"

I'm not sure where else I can create infotype 1017... I am doing it to assign a structural authorization to a position... Any help would be appreciated!
