Im running Apache 2.2.3 on my server and at first everything worked great but now something is wrong. Apache wount load big images or when it tries it stops after awhile and the remaning part of the image turnes gray.

This is not a bandwith problem cuz iv made so that apache always have at least 200kb free bandwith.

And from time to time apache just shuts down for some reason.

I used Xerver before and it always worked fine but was slower then apache so thats why i switched. So having a webserver should work for me but i probably have some settings messed up or something.

Any one have some ideas?

Thx

mty73,

First, I'd have a look at the documentation at
Second, there is too little information for anyone to begin to help you. What OS are you running? Are you behind a firewall or router with NAT enabled? When Apache "just shuts down" is there anything in the Apache error log? What is the output of 'apachectl -t'?

Third, when you refer to "big images", how big are they? Big could be 100kb or 100mb, depending on who you ask.
