I'm beginning to beleive there is a limit when linking tables via ODBC. I am trying to link up a table to Access and I am only getting about the first 50 columns or so. The data I need however, is in the last few columns (column 100 or so). Is there a way I can code in which fields I want to link?
This problem is reeking havoc on me and I could really use some advice on how to get the data. THANK YOU!

This may not help, but the only way I know how to define the columns you want to see and in what data format, would be to do an import. In this you can go to advanced, once you see that button available on the bottom left. Then you can create import specifications, where you can skip fields you don't want, and define how to format the imported data. Before you click ok, save the specifications, and you can reimport your table, even overwriting the existing one, at any time. You would just go back to advanced and load your specs.

Hope that helps, but there really isnt much that you can specify in linking a table.

btw, have you tried doing a query to see if you can split up your table before you link it, and bring in 2 tables?
Just a thought.
