Hello group, we have some kx-ns0154 bases that are used without problems, but it is known that Panasonic is closing operations and in the stage in which a wireless terminal must be replaced. There are not many options.
We have the case of a Siemens Gigaset terminal that initially registers with the kx-ns0154 bases but does not allow Roaming between different kx-ns0154 bases. Is there an option of brands that Panasonic accepts or configuration so that terminals that are not Panasonic can operate without losing the signal between the bases?

Consider the Grandstream WP-820 WIFI/VOIP handset.
It does not have a Base Station, but rather works off of a WIFI Network.
You can install wireless access points to handle the carry over from zone to zone.
You will need a 3rd Party SIP Station license for each handset.

Some people think WIFI Handsets are trouble, but I have helped one company switch out
the Panasonic Cordless Handsets and Repeaters (Poor range) for the Grandstream and it works well.

Even better yet, switch to TRUE VOIP systems and stop using 30 year old technology.

We have used grandstream wifi phones in a few places. Problem with them is the hand over sometimes can be slow and the call drops as it moves from one ap to another

We have also used the yealink w80 dect system which works very well. Again you will need license for each sip extension ( dect cordless). They will also work with most Voip systems it you swap out the panasonic at a later date
