Problem is su when i log in as any user????

Hi guys,

Can anyone help me in solving this problm?

PROBLEM:When i log in as a super user i am able to do a su to any user but when i log in as a user and a su to any user i get a error message"invalid user i.d".

Any tips or soloution for this problm wud be more helpful.
