I had to resort to that headline as I've asked this question 2 or 3 times with not even one answer and I can't see why this wouldn't be a problem to other users and vendors. (yet my thread on BCM50 analog CLID was of interest to many)
The ringing volume on an I2004 set cannot be adjusted using F*6 or F*80 off prem. This presents a problem in a residential situation whereby unless the person stays locked in their home office, they cannot hear the ringing from other rooms in the house. I've had more than one complaint from customers.
This condition exists on a BCM1000 3.7, but I'm asking if someone with off prem IP sets can see if this condition exists on other levels of software. Is it a patch situation on 3.7 or do I just have to move to 4.0 if that even resolves it.
"Any" feedback on this odd quirk would be appreciated.
Thanks!
