Problem installing Small Business Server 2000

I'm again!
I have a server with SBS 2000 preinstalled. I Configure it to validate in a network Windows NT 4.0. When I trying to continue with the SBS installation process, it shows the following message: "Unable to access the Active Directory. Check to ensure that you are logged onto the domain and that the Domain Controller is accessible". Which can be the problem? I need to install SQL Server 2000 mainly.
