Problem Installing ActiveX

i am tying to run an activeX web componet, however, when i go to the website, it prompts me to intstall it, when i do, nothing happens. All i get is a little box at teh top of my screen with a dot in it (similar to a picture placeholder, but with a dot insted of an x). I have tried running this on several different computers, half of them work, the other half don't. Any thoughts would be very helpfull

I'm getting exactly the same thing when trying to test and ActiveX component on the web.

Did you ever figure out what was going on ?
