Problem in SharePoint Portal homepage

I have a SPS 2003 on my server. I opened once the home page (default.aspx) by the URL address of it ( and I opend it on VS .NET and not on FronPage!!! ( I know it's not the way)

Now... when I open it from the local place (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\60\TEMPLATE\1037\SPS\default.aspx) I dont get the same page as the URL address. Why? What's the problem? and How can I fix it???
