HI folks

I have two PCs connected to an HP 2200dn Printer by means of Data cables and a switch(auto switch). Both PCs have windows 98 installed. I have installed printer drivers on both machine but still dont know why i can't print. it displays a message saying "There is a problem in printing.. check your cable .. etc etc".

can any body help

thanks
Jahangir

Without knowing what the switch is passing I would suspect that the printer drivers are expecting bidirectional communications and the switch is one direction only. Ed Fair
