Problem in one field when download to Excel

Hi,

i have created one objects with name VALUE in the universe .
and when i run the report it seems ok (label value) but when i download then it show
'VALUE' (with single codes).

this is not webi report.

any one Please reply to this.

Note : i can't give this report to users by giving other labels. because they already have some macros..

Hello Sri2Sri,

The reason value is shown as 'value' is , that it is considered a 'reserved' phrase/word. Instead of a error message the accepting medium automatically disarms the problem by placing quote's around it. You'll have to give Bill Gates a very hefty mail to change this ..... T. Blom
