Problem in Getting the File Contents of Ole object (Word Doc)

Hai,

I have a problem with Ole Field in the Database. I am storing the word document, in the Ole Field. I am able to attach and retrieve the contents of the OLE field using the OLE Control(Bound Object Frame Control).

But I am not able to print the information in the background. I can do that for the currently attached files, by storing the file path in the SourceDoc Field, at the time of attaching.

But I couldn't retrieve the information, if I switch over to the next record. If I maintain the path in a separate field also, I will face the problem, if the file is externally deleted.

So if I have a method ot access the file information using the OLE control's information, I will be safe enough abt the contents of the file.

Anybody have an answer for this or anyother alternative option can you suggest.
