Problem in executing Javascript

hello i work on Pc with win 2000 server,
last days i have a problem to open pages where there is javascript, the machine execute no javascrit and i have in the bar down "Error on the page" the message i find all the time is "the Server RPC is not disponible"
can somebody help me to solve this problem ?
