Problem in adding sound into my flash

Hi,

This is the first time I am trying to add a music into my flash. But it did not work. I go to File - Import then select my.WAV file. I got a error message"One or more file were not imported because there were problems reading them". I download that .wav file from Internet. And I can play it fine in my PC. What did I do wrong? How can I fix the problem? Thank you very much for any help!!!!

Thank you so much. I converted my .wav file to mp3 and selected the right rate that you told me. It is working now. Thanks a bunch!! You save my day.
