Problem Importing Tagged Text - From Pagemaker 6.5

I don't see where InDesign 2.0 supports importing Tagged Text from Pagemaker 6.5 files (on Macintosh). Are there any solutions to this? Perhaps somebody knows of third party filters for this? Thanks

Is there a reason why you can't use RTF?

I have a program that extracts raw data from another program and tags it. It will work with pagemaker or Quark....but I wanted to import the tagged files into InDesign. I guess 2.0 dropped that feature of importing Pagemaker tagged files. I can't see where it's supported anymore.

RTF isn't an option....I guess staying with Classic OS9 is my only option at the moment.

Yes, ID 1.x supported PM's tagged text, but the later versions do not. Does the app do XPress tags? If you really want this functionality, Latenight Software has an plug-in that enables InDesign to interpret XPress tags.

Does the new InDesign CS support importing Pagemaker or Quark Xpress tagged text? Your last solution offered won't be a viable option, as Latenight software has discontinued their Tag-On product.
