I have imported to a new installation (Win XP) all my old email (also OE6 but on Win2k), mail rules and addresses. But am having a problem with mail rules in that all of the rules which I imported (all the rules exist fine in the new installation) cannot see my individual mail folders that they were allocated. The mail folders exist and have checked this by referencing the store folder in maintenance. I exported the old mail rules from here...
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{my identity}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0\Rules\Mail]
to a rules.reg file, changed the identity tag in the file and ran the file in the new installation. So now I'm wondering why can't the imported mail rules see the relevant mail folders. This is really annoying, I know it dosen't take much effort to modify each rule to point it in the direction of the correct folder but I shouldn;t have to do this. When i go to modify the mail rules the "Move it to the specified folder" option is blank!?! why should this be??
Any Help would be appreciated
