Problem importing Excel Table

Among other things, I am having difficulty importing an excel table into Access. There are no formulas in the Cells but it will continually only let me bring in the 1st 30 records (of several hundred) if I paste, and if I try to import, it will not transfer due to format issues or missing file. Below is what I am trying to import either with or without the links (these 2 lines are actually only 1 on the spreadsheet-7 columns. I even tried setting up a blank table using Text as the data property:

1 February 2000 6 CBR Online Reference Material N/A ..\File Links\001_02_2000.doc

Any ideas on why I can't bring this in?

I've had issues where the MS Excel file has mixed data types in one column. For example

EmpNo
1234
2345
4567
7890

where the 1st 2 lines are text and the 3rd and 4th lines are numeric. I converted to all numeric and it works. So.. check the Excel file. Create an Excel file with a limited number of records... and see what lines are failing... htwh,

Another idea is to do a Repair/Mod on your Office installation and make sure to add all of the components possible. This might fix some problems with importing objects.
