problem importing dbx to outlook 2000

I´m trying to import some o-express 5 dbx files to outlook 2000 but when i chose the folder where the files are the import/export wizard tells me that the files are used by another program ?!... i copied the files from another hd i don´t think that the files are opened...

Any idea???

Go to eudora.com, download Eudora 5.1, import your .dbx-files to Eudora, then import them to Outlook. Worked fine for me.

i downloaded eudora 5.11 but it doesnt works.
i cant even restore the emails.
is there another solution ?

By any chance are the DBX files marked as Read-Only? joegz

[outlook]

I deleted (shift +del) by mistake a whole folder from my Outlook express, but it is still in the my computer as a .dbx file.
How do I restore it back the outlook so that I can read my messages ?
