Hi,
I have a home network in my house were I have an NT server. I use DHCP to distribute IPs to all the pcs on the network.
All the computers are working fine except one.
I haven't been able to figure out what is going on with it.
Somehow everytime I want to go online, I have to give it an ipconfig /release and renew and then I have connection. The pc is running in Win XP.
Any idea waht could be happening?
Thanks,
sbayter

When you turn the computer on and wait a minute, what does IPCONFIG tell you?

I'm thinking the problem may be related to the IP lease time.
