Hello,

I have an array of zip code ranges that I would like to have more control of for a web application. I was able to get the array to display vertically by using line feeds chr(10)+chr(13). However, when I export to Excel the data is not being displayed on individual rows. Instead each array is packed into one cell with soft returns.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Sample data:

RepID:
BL02

ZipRanges:
01373, 01432, 01450-01451, 01460, 01467, 01469, 01503-01504, 01510, 01516, 01519, 01526, 01529, 01532, 01534, 01536, 01538, 01542, 01568-01569, 01581, 01588, 01590, 01605, 01719-01721, 1740, 01747-01748, 01752, 01754, 01756-01757, 01772, 01826

One of the 3rd-party Crystal Reports desktop schedulers listed at allows you to feed the delimited values inside a Crystal formula to an Excel range. The range gets extended automatically based on the number of rows required. The advantage is that formatting is preserved and you can start with an excel file that has other elements (formulas, charts, ...) that use the range being filled.

hth,
- Ido

view, export, burst, email, and schedule Crystal Reports.
