Good Evening.

Can someone tell me how to export the reports into Excel format. We can only export the custom reports into Excel. When we export to Ascii(only export format available), t sows all junk.

Thanks.
Rick

It's regular reports like Customer sales report,Monthlysales report, Back order report. We are able to export custom reports but not the regular reports that comes with MAS90

Thanks.

Most of the regular reports that come with Mas90 are crystal reports are they not?

If it is a crystal report you can export it by clicking on the envelope icon. If you do not see the envelope icon there is a viewer setting that can be changed to make it available.

You have to first save the text file it creates. Then you open that in Excel. It all comes into one column. You then use the Data/Text to Columns command in excel to parse the data (split into columns) and change the column type (date or general). Be careful that the negative numbers are split right after the negative sign and there is no space.

If you choose to preview the reports you can copy the info to the clipboard and then paste it into Excel. Sometimes the data comes over a "little crude", or you can go into your printer settings and chose to export the file in a number of formats and Excel is one of the choices.
