I just installed OFFICE 2003 PRO. I want to export various ACCESS 2003 tables to EXCEL and DBF format but I DO NOT SEE either of these options listed in the "Save as type:" window.

what am i missing? do i need to install additional converters? please help !

Hi,

Why not just query Access from Excel as needed, using MS Query built into Data/Get external data/new query...

ok...but how about other file types...i'm trying to export to DBF and paradox. these file types no longer exist and they used to under my old MS office 2000 installation.

Why are you EXPORTING to all these applications?

Each one ought to be able to PULL data from the data source, Access. You might need to go out to the MS site and download some ODBC drivers
